Swimming With Snapping Turtles And Painted Turtles
I love Pumpkinseed sunfish, they're so common yet so vibrant.
These little guys got heart. I’ve caught plenty of BGs while fishing for Bass n Northerns with lure as big as them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the eggs are poisonous to predators.
Apples are my favorite fruit. I love 'em. 😋❤🍎🍏
What do you call an invertebrate that runs long distances? A marapod. Get it?
What do you call a group of invertebrates traveling together? A carapod. Get it?
We thought they were fighting 😂 then I said errr maybe they are doing other stuffs and my teenager said, 'oh, shrimpercourse'
Hehe I have similar hybrids too. I love the rainbow iridescent with tails that have a thin streak of colour on top and bottom edge while the rest being translucent. Watching how guppy generations develop different colours and patterns feels so satisfying. It’s interesting how colours can blend too - eg my orangey red guppies mixed with blue ones and I now get a mix of orange, red, blue and even purple!
I’m a sucker for my guppies’ begging behaviour. 🥺
That’s so cool.
Great info, thanks!
I love the native fish so much. I always stop to admire my catches.
Me too! Native fish rule!
Have you heard of a dusky dolphin/Lagenorynchus obscurus?
Yes, an active dolphin that's lots of fun to watch.
@@TheDave333 Especially in New Zealand. It's got lots of them there.
My earliest memories of fishing took place on lake Vega in the bluegrass army depot here in central Ky are filled with these big bull brem. Thanks papaw Wright We had a blast
Pawpaw Wright hooked you up with some sweet fish memories. Fishing for panfish on light tackle is a blast!
@@TheDave333 yes sir. I was hooked for life
ORRRRR SEACHEM STABILITY INSTANTLY CYCLES TANK G MAN 3 days later
That's awesome if it works for you and your fish. Personally, I don't trust chemical shortcuts. . . They usually backfire at some point.
Seachem or any other bottled bacteria does not cycle in 3 days nor instantly. It takes a minimum of 2 weeks imo.
😂😂😂I never once had trouble with it🤷🏽♂️🇨🇦💪🏼
Love me some sunfish
Mw too, they're so beautiful and they're always biting.
Hi Dave! How do you film these videos? I love freshwater marine life and this fascinates me. Thanks!
I love marine life as well. In fact, I grew up in the Caribbean and started snorkeling when I was about 9 or 10 years old. So, this sort of thing is in my blood. There 's a link to the camera that I use in the video description. In order to film these video I move very slowly and take my time so the fish don't get spooked. . .
fish are so cute
They really are! Baby fish are especially adorable! :-)
I would eat everything in the erie canal
That's so funny! I was doing some research on the Erie Canal just last night for my Sea Lamprey video. If I were you, I wouldn't eat anything from that canal. . . <•))))~{
Reminds me of the Oscars I have kept in the past. The brash attitude and challenge.
I see what you mean. They are brash little fish indeed!
my name is also Dave. I immediately subscribed
A man of excellent taste I see! Thank you for your loyalty to the brand. <•))))~{
This dude has no friends in real life
lol It's so true, I actually don't! A wife and 8 grandkids is enough. Plus, 22 fish tanks, who has time for friends. <•))))~{
@@TheDave333 Your pure hearted my friend
and hes still happier than the person leaving hate comments lmao
@@TheDave333I’m sure you’re just being modest. You seem like someone who keeps fewer but real friends.
Dave, what's the reason why you're thankful that I've been with you for a very long time?
You seem like a nice guy, and you leave a comment, or two, nearly every single day. And you've been doing that for a very long time. So, I appreciate you taking the time to visit. . . It also seems like we're getting to know each other a little bit, and it's nice that you appreciate my work. <•))))~{
For some reason or another, many anglers overlook the bluegill/sunfish as worthless or annoyance. I love this fish. Pumpkinseed fish are some of the most beautiful fish in freshwater NA.
I agree 100% I think bluegill are thought of as a beginner fish, they strike at anything, so they're easy to catch, and they tend to steal the bait intended for larger species. But in my opinion those are all good qualities! They're brave little fish and they're beautiful. Pumpkinseed are especially pretty.
The reason why the water was murky was because of excess rain.
Yes, the wind can also stir things up as well.
You are the best
I am unique.
You are a good person Dave To fish
Thank you. It's not easy in this crazy mixed up world. . .
Mummichogs are my favorite species of killifish. ❤😁
Nice. It's so hard to choose a favorite anything.
Can large fish eat them?
Yes, if they can get them out of the shell, or crack it.
Have you ever eaten Chicago-style pizza. I have. It was yummy!
Yes I have. I see you ate pizza on your recent trip. :-)
can seed shrimp kill daphnia ?
Anything is possible, but I don't see why they would bother. I'm not sure they could eat them.
I love fish..
Me too! I also love Peacock spiders, have you ever seen them?
Great video. Thanks for your effort and sharing 👍
Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. <•))))~{
Love this video. I think what you did was so cool. If anything you got more people appreciating the fishies!😊
Thanks so much!! <•))))~{
And the world was created a kind and 'benevolent' God?
Life must come from death, and so from death springs from all life.
This is like a full length documentary dedicated to rams! 🎉
Yes, tell everyone that you know! It's one of the best fish videos ever! <•))))~{
Probably A Common question, what camera do you film with

Only 1 in 1,000 make it to sexual maturity??? Those odds are crazy , I never knew that . I love these videos of fish in their natural habitat . It’s really cool
All the babies that don't make it, become food for something else in the giant web of life. So, nothing is wasted.🐟🦐🦠
Wish I was a fish...
but you might end up on a dish. . .

@@TheDave333 oh snap, you're right. Good one. You got me. Lol
My name is Earl? "Oh, snap"
Great video, very informative, conveniently found it just after setting up a new tank to move my male and female Ram pair to as a species only tank in in the hopes they will finally successfully raise fry, in my community tank the eggs wouldn't last long at all, let alone wrigglers. As for your question regarding how long we've had our Rams, I've had mine roughly a year and 3 months, I received them just after they'd got their colours in.
Thanks for watching the video and taking the time to leave a comment. Best of luck with your Rams. Such beautiful fish and well worth the effort.
Cool to see them defending their fry with aggression. I had a Black Bullhead in my large aquarium living with my Cichlids and a Redtail Catfish who eventually dwarfed it.
I'd love to have a redtail catfish, and a swimming pool to keep it in!
What do you call an invertebrate does sports? An athapod. Get it?
@@TheDave333 No.
What do you call an invertebrate that learns martial arts? A karatapod. Get it?
This is a good one, Karatapod. Ha Ha. it's better than the one about sports.
@@TheDave333 I took karate classes when I was younger, and now I'm doing it again.
That's awesome. I'd love to get into the martial arts. . . I love the Taoist approach to life and I'd really love to visit Japan someday. ❤❤❤

Do you know what's cooler than cowboys? The Royal Canadian Mounties!
Are they though, are they really? Those horses do not agree. . .
@@TheDave333 I saw them when I was in Canada in 2019 and 2023.
That's interesting. I saw them when I went to Niagara Falls as a kid with my parents.
I could catch a bluegill
Yes, and it would be fun.
Now, the important question is, how did Amanda get splits in some of her fins?
I have no idea, my guess would be fishing line. . . .
Fish from my island So many kind of this fish rn, green, albino, slayer, ballon, glow red and green
There are many fish in the sea. . . all so wonderful to me.
